SKDC statement on Modern Slavery

Under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, SKDC is required to notify the Home Office about any potential victims of modern slavery we encounter.

Officers may not be aware they are being trafficked or exploited, and may have consented to elements of their exploitation, Cases are referred via the National Referral Mechanism to be fully considered, even where we cannot be certain that someone is a victim.
