Our Wellbeing Networks are a great way to bring people together from across the Council whilst getting support on topics that are important to them.
We’re continually listening to our staff about what they would like to see next and as such, we are in the process of setting up our Youth Network for the development and social wellbeing of colleagues under 30.
Our Menopause Café meet regularly for support and discussion. As one employee said in our wellbeing pulse survey in November 2022;
“I’m part of the Menopause group and hearing other people’s stories has been really powerful. It encourages others to open up and get support on issues they may be experiencing.”
We also have an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group who play a vital role in ensuring an inclusive and equitable workplace. And our Working Parents’ Forum involved a partnering up with a local organisation to offer a programme of support videos on many aspects of being a working parent.
