Parks and playing fields We have three formal parks in the district: Wyndham Park, Dysart Park and Queen Elizabeth Park. Grass cutting, verges and trees Grass areas which the Council is responsible for are cut on a regular schedule. Continued bad weather can delay cutting and extended dry weather may make cutting unnecessary. Grass cuttings aren't collected. Ditches and Dykes Whilst we maintain some watercourses in the district, generally they are the responsibility of the owners of land/property adjacent to them. Allotments We do not own or operate any of the allotments in our area, but our local town and parish councils do administer and manage them. Public open space - Ball Games South Kesteven District Council is in the process of removing old 'No Ball game' signs from land they are responsible for as these are out of date & cannot be legally enforced.
