Please visit Lincolnshire County Council's Household Support Fund webpage for the latest information.
On Wednesday 6 March 2024, the UK Government announced that the Household Support Fund would be extended for a further six months from 1st April 2024 to September 2024.
The money is being given out to people across the district to ease the pressure of increased costs over the coming months.
The Household Support Fund restarted in the district on 24th June 2024 and will run through to 13th September unless funding is exhausted before this date.
Households in financial hardship can apply for a grant in the form of a voucher to help with food.
To apply, you should contact SKDC Customer Services on 01476 406080, where you will be referred to the cost-of-living team to assess your needs. This will apply if you are in receipt of an income related benefit.
If you are not in receipt of an income related benefit, you can apply for the Lincolnshire Community Foundation application by visiting www.lincolnshirecf.co.uk/grants/skhsf/.
This fund is not suitable for emergency support as applications will take time to process. If immediate need is required a food bank referral can be provided.
Strictly limited to one application per household.
Eligibility criteria:
- You must be a resident of South Kesteven District
- You are struggling to meet your basic needs of food, energy, and other essential bills
- You must have experienced a situation that has resulted in a change of circumstances resulting in financial hardship
Due to the popularity of the HSF, funding for the current year has been exhausted and it is now closed to new applications. All applications made up to date will be processed.
