South Kesteven District Council has been shortlisted for three awards recognising individuals and organisations that go the extra mile when it comes to workforce wellbeing.
The national Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards honour employers and employees who have a significant impact on improving wellbeing.
SKDC is a finalist in the categories for Excellence in Employee Engagement and Wellbeing Team of the Year.
The council’s Head of HR and Organisational Development Fran Beckitt is among those shortlisted in the Most Inspiring HR Leader of the Year category.
Excellence in Employee Engagement focuses on organisations that have excelled in engaging employees in wellbeing programmes and initiatives, while the Wellbeing Team of the Year award is for teams showing exceptional dedication and effectiveness in promoting workplace wellbeing.
The Leader of SKDC, Cllr Ashley Baxter, said: “To receive national recognition for our wellbeing work demonstrates the passion and dedication of those who work to ensure the mental, physical, emotional, and economic health of their colleagues.
“It also shows the importance we place on looking after our staff and how that can have a positive impact on their performance.”
