The pages to a magical spell book are missing in Wyndham Park. Will you dust off your witch’s hat and grab your broomstick to help find the pages and finish the spell?
Embark on The Enchanted Spellbook Trail and join Wyndhamara The Witch and Wyndham The Wizard on Sunday 27th October to help unlock the spirit of Halloween?
Trails will set off from the Wyndham Park Visitor Centre in hourly slots from 11am until 2pm.
Visitors can collect a trail sheet from the Visitor Centre to guide them as they make their way across the park to collect pages and finish the spell.
Cllr Paul Stokes, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming residents and visitors to one of our most popular annual events.
“The Enchanted Spellbook Trail is a fantastic opportunity to bring everyone together with plenty of activities on offer to keep the whole family entertained.
“Visitors are encouraged to get involved with a fancy dress competition, take part in themed activities and race a duck in the much-loved Grantham Lions Club Duck Race.”
The Duck Race on the River Witham will start at 12pm with ducks available to purchase on the day for £1.
Prizes for the best dressed child, adult and family will be awarded at the Fancy Dress Competition taking place at 2pm in the Visitor Centre.
Sweetie rewards, donated by Cllr Charmaine Morgan, Ward Member for Grantham St Vincents, will be given to those children who complete the trail.
Children must be accompanied by an adult to take part and require a ticket to receive their trail sheet.
