A Grantham car park operated by South Kesteven District Council is to temporarily close on two days this week for essential maintenance.
Welham Street Car Park, which has been undergoing repairs to the car park surface and some drains maintenance, will be closed on Thursday and Friday 20th and 21st June.
There will be no access to any parking level while drainage work continues.
The lower levels will re-open on Saturday with a full re-opening expected later this month on completion of the work schedule.
Deputy Chief Executive Richard Wyles said: “We realise this temporary closure for planned improvement work may cause some inconvenience but there are several other SKDC car parks available nearby, which are all convenient for the town centre.
“We thank drivers and shoppers for their patience and co-operation and look forward to fully re-opening this facility in the near future.”
As well as Wharf Road multi-storey (260 spaces), other options include Guildhall Street (88 spaces) and Conduit Lane (47 spaces).
