South Kesteven District Council's annual Civic Service took place on Sunday with Stamford's United Reform Church as this year's setting.
Chairman Cllr Gloria Johnson welcomed elected members from Stamford and Grantham and guests from across the East Midlands for a Sunday afternoon service officiated by the Rev Dr Peter Stevenson and followed by the Civic Reception in the Stamford Masonic Centre.
The event raised £485 for the Chairman's charities - Military vs Cancer and the Place2bee Men's Mental Health Group (part of the Beehive Charity).
