Matt Bailey (Conservative) has been elected to South Kesteven District Council in yesterday's (Nov 9) by-election for St Wulfram’s Ward in Grantham.
This represents a “hold” for the Conservative Party.
This means that SKDC’s composition is unchanged at Conservative (part of the South Kesteven Coalition Group) - 24; Democratic Independent Group - 7; Grantham Independent – 7; Independent – 5; Green Party – 4; Liberal Democrat – 4; South Kesteven Independent Group (part of the South Kesteven Coalition Group) – 3; Labour & Co-operative – 2.
Paul Martin (Conservative) was elected to Lincolnshire County Council for the Grantham North Division, also a “hold” for the Party.
