Families in South Kesteven are invited to an exciting programme of half-term fun in Grantham’s Wyndham Park.
The free activities have been organised by South Kesteven District Council and will take place in the Wyndham Park Visitor Centre.
Children are invited to bring their favourite book or come along and listen to some stories with a range of reading and story activities including Mini Book Club, Morning and Afternoon Story Time and Halloween Story Time.
Keep little ones entertained with an Apple Trail taking place on Tuesday 24th and Thursday 26th October. Visitors will be invited to explore Wyndham Park in search of different varieties of apple.
Setting off from the Visitor Centre, rewards are up for grabs for those who complete the trail.
For the creative types, a drop-in Colouring & Craft Activities session will run from 11am until 3pm each day.
A Halloween British Sign Language session will be held on Thursday 26th October, suitable for those aged over 7 years.
All activities in the Visitor Centre are free to attend and do not require pre-booking.
To make the most of the Halloween season, the Wyndham Park Trick or Treat Trail will also take place on Sunday 29th October between 11am and 3pm.
Tickets cost £2.50 per child and include entry into the Children’s Halloween picture trail and a small sweetie reward. The trail will start and finish in the Visitor Centre.
Families are asked to dress up in their best Halloween costumes to take part in the fancy dress competition with prizes for the best dressed child, adult and family. Prizes include a family ticket to the Guildhall Arts Centre’s pantomime – Aladdin.
The Grantham Lions Club Halloween Duck Race will return this year and take place at 1pm. Tickets are £1 and available to purchase on the day.
