Updated Hackney Carriage & Private Hire Licensing Policy June 2024
Please Note: Following the Department for Transport issuing updated Taxi and Private Hire vehicle licensing best practice guidance, a review of the South Kesteven District Policy has been undertaken. As a result, the Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy has been reviewed, updated and adopted by the Council to take effect from 1 June 2024 for new applicants, and from 1 August 2024 for existing drivers and vehicle owners and operators at renewal.

New applicants

Renewals
It is your responsibility to book your appointment in plenty of time before the expiry of your licence. Failure to do so may mean you cannot drive until your application has been processed.
